If you haven't worked out how to enable Fortnite 2FA yet you really should. Without Fortnite two factor authentication you could lose your account to hackers and it is not easy to recover. It's a simple thing to fix though and something that will add a layer of protection to all your hard earned stuff in Fortnite. 

How Fortnite two-factor authentication works is by adding an extra layer of security to your login. Once Fortnite 2FA is set up, it will send a confirmation code to a device of your choice whenever you login to a new console or PC. As unwanted logins from hackers  won't get the code, it's harder for them to get access to all your stuff.

Using Fortnite two-factor authentication to protect your Fortnite account is really easy so here's how to enable Fortnite 2FA and protect all your stuff.

Enter your email address. Then your password,and click on Log in Now. Hover over your account name in the top right corner and click on account. Click on password and security. Scroll down to Two-Factor Authentication. You will see three available options. Authenticator app,SMS (texting) authentication, or email authentication. First, we will show you how to enable the authenticator app. Note that you can only have one type of Two-Factor Authentication enabled on your account at one time. In order to enable this, click on enable authenticator app enabled. A pop-up will appear outlining the three easy steps you need to take to get the authenticator app enabled. You will need to download an authenticator app on your smartphone to be able to complete this process. In this example,we'll be using the Google authenticator app on Android. Note that the process will be slightly different on iOS device. Open the app and tap on begin. Tap on scan a barcode. Scan QR code on your screen. Tap on add Account. Remember the code on your phone . The code will refresh every so often for additional security. Enter the six digit code in the pop-up and click Activate. Backup codes are created in case you lose access to your authenticator app. Click on Generate codes. Make sure to write down these codes somewhere safe or you can click on download codes to save a text file containing the codes on your computer. To confirm the authenticator app is working correctly sign out of your Epic Games account by hovering over your name in top right corner and clicking on sign out. Click on sign-in the top right corner. Enter your email address. Then your password,and click on Log in now. You will be prompted for a six digit code. Open your authenticator app and enter the code then click on continue. You have successfully enable Two-Factor Authentication through your authenticator app on your Epic Games account !
